Welcome to my world of ceramic sculptures.
I am Fatemeh Asadi (Faasadi), a contemporary ceramic artist based in Tehran, Iran. My artistic journey began in childhood, when I first took clay between my fingers and shaped imaginary forms. Back then, I had no idea, not even the slightest thought, that this moment would become the beginning of a professional path for me. But now I know that my artistic life and journey started precisely from that very moment.
As a self-taught artist, I have spent years exploring the alchemy of fire and clay. Each of my sculptures is a dialogue between earth and fire, form and emotion. I listen to the clay, speak to the kiln, and in my hands, clay, glaze, and color dance together to create contemporary ceramic sculptures.
The heart of my work beats inside the kiln, where fire transforms matter and brings clay to life. In that moment when, after firing, a piece is born, I feel as though I am touching fire itself. Each piece is an expression of material, texture, and form.
