Fatemeh Asadi Zahraei (Faasadi) is a ceramic artist born in 1972 in Tehran, Iran. She is a self‑taught artist whose passion for art began in childhood, when she first started playing with colors and shaping imaginary forms out of clay.

Over the years, through continuous practice, study, and exploration across various fields of visual arts, her early passion naturally evolved into a serious and professional artistic path.

She found her true place in the world of ceramics after many years of exploration. She felt a deep connection to the touch of clay, and this feeling inspired her to create ceramic sculptures.

What makes her ceramic works unique is that she thoroughly learned the principles and traditional methods of pottery, and then, with creativity, moved beyond traditional boundaries to create her own personal language in contemporary ceramic art.
